Mexico is well known as a country of History, traditions and is one of the most popular countries in architecture and historical buildings referal.

Mexico offer us, in this colonial treasures circuit, the chance to enjoy great majestic places of the Mexicn colonial era, and why they still in function, merging the traditions with the modernity.

Beginning with Mexico city, the colonial city by excellence, Mexico's downtown, is really amazing, have a lot of antique buildings and lovely constructions, that remember the old times and the colonial architecture for the history lovers.

Another piece of colonial art, is San Miguel De Allende, a historic city in the
Independence war, still retains the colonial charm, supported by modern infrastructure, and also is the place of one of the most important popular fairs in Mexico and the world.

Continue to the town of Dolores Hidalgo, where Father Hidalgo gave the start of independence war, at September 16, 1810, and so began the historic battle for
Mexico Independence against the settlers, no doubt this is a place full of history and pride for Mexican people.

Then, we will visit the city of Guanajuato, which in all respects, is simply amazing, is a magical place full of legends, history and more.

Then we go to the north-central Mexico, entering to the city of San Luis Potosi, a city recognized by its colonial treasures, specially, at the end of the colonial era. Next to find one of the 5 most beautiful cities in Mexico, Zacatecas, where we will see the hill of Bufa, a cable car will show us the entire city, and we will be in the caves of Eden, and also visit the city downtown that is one of the places, who collects treasures from the Mexican colonial era.

After this visits, we will visit the second largest city in Mexico, Guadalajara. Guadalajara is house of culture, and unparalleled beauty, unique colonial buildings mixed with the modern era.

To finish before our return to Mexico City,  will visit the artistic state of Michoacan in two of its most significant towns, Patzcuaro and Morelia, where a delicious evening breeze, will accompany us to be delighted by the landscapes of these two cities full of traditions.

MEXICO CITY .- Day 1

Arrival to the international airport Benito Juarez in Mexico City, capital of Mexico, one of the largest and most populated cities in the world, with a long history of almost 700 years, reflected in many buildings of its indigenous past and the colonial era, coupled with the latest expressions of architecture and contemporary art. Initially based on a lake, today shows us the greatness of early civilizations, the splendor of the colonial era and the development and progress achieved in recent times, which makes it a truly unique city. Assistance and transfer to hotel for your stay,  Htl Plaza Florencia ****. or Htl Maria Isabel Sheraton. Accommodation

MEXICO CITY .- Day 2

Breakfast. In the morning, sightseeing tour along the Paseo de la Reforma, to arrive to the historical center, declared by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site, where you can admire the edings and memorials: the Metropolitan Cathedral, National Palace, Constitution Square or Plaza , and more. Later we will go to the pyramids of Teotihuacan. Declared by UNESCO as World Heritage of humanity, and also known as the city of the Gods, is the archaeological zone of Mexico with more visitors. Visit the main buildings: the Pyramid of the Sun, the Avenue of the Dead, Citadel, etc. Lunch at local restaurant. In the afternoon, return to Mexico City. Accommodation at the hotel for your stay.

Day 3 .- MEXICO DF / QUERETARO / SAN MIGUEL ALLENDE

Departure to Querétaro, origin centre of the Mexican independence war, where we will visit overview of the Aqueduct, visit the former Convent of the Cross and the Historic Center. After we'll continue  to San Miguel de Allende, considered a Magical Town of Mexico, ideal for people in the which preserves the flavor of the old in the cobbled streets, its rich history and colonial architecture. Location of artists and intellectuals, home to the great comedian Cantinflas, and where we will visit the Parish of San Miguel Archangel, symbol of the city, the Church of Saint Francis, etc.Time to see the magical corners of this beautiful and peaceful city. Overnight at Htl Angeles Mission or similar.

Day 4 .- SAN MIGUEL ALLENDE / DOLORES HIDALGO / GUANAJUATO

Breakfast. Departure to the city of Dolores Hidalgo, also considered "Magical Town of Mexico," where in 1810 the priest Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla gave the famous "scream" of Independence from Mexico. Visit the house-museum of national hero, and the Church. Then continue to Guanajuato,  undoubtedly, one of the most beautiful colonial cities of Mexico, with its grand architecture, this place, play an important role in the country's history, its intellectual tradition, alleys, squares, and more. In the afternoon, the tour of the main points of interest: Granaditas, Callejon del Beso, Teatro Juarez, etc. Its streets and avenues are unique ground in the country. Overnight at the Real de Minas Htl **** or similar.

Day 5 .- GUANAJUATO / SAN LUIS POTOSI / ZACATECAS

Breakfast. In the morning, departure towards Zacatecas, considered by UNESCO as World Heritage City Humanity, which highlightsare the beautiful pink stone carved facades, whose cathedral is one of the most beautiful Mexican Baroque art. From the Cerro de la Bufa, wil admire a beautiful panoramic view of the city and make a visit to Mina del Eden. Overnight at Htl Don Miguel Inguanzo **** or similar.

Day 6 .- ZACATECAS / GUADALAJARA

Breakfast. Morning departure to Guadalajara, one of the most emblematic cities of the Mexican Republic, origin of the Mariachi, Tequila, and Charrería, the most representative symbols of Mexico in the World. It is also important for its rich and varied cuisine, colonial architecture and folklore. Visit the most important: Hospice Cabañas with the murals of Orozco, the Cathedral, the Rotunda of Illustrious Men, squares, and panoramic visit the Teatro Degollado and the Palace of Government. Overnight at Htl De Mendoza **** or similar.

Day 7 .- GUADALAJARA / PATZCUARO

First, you´ll have a breakfast. Next, is the departure to Patzcuaro, listed as one of Mexico´s "Magic Towns", where the colonial past is reflected in churches, convents and mansions that frame their squares.

Among the places to visit there are: the Basque Quiroga Square, the Basilica of Our Lady of the Health, the Home of the "Once Patios" and, of course, Janitzio Island, the best known of the 7 islands of Lake Patzcuaro, which carries out important ancient traditions such as the Day of the Dead on November 2, worldwide recognized .You will overnight at Htl Posada Don Basque **** or similar.


Day 8 .- PAZTCUARO / MORELIA / MEXICO DF

Breakfast. Early departure to the city of Morelia, the cradle of great people of Mexican National history , and one of the most important sites in the Independence of Mexico, which still remains a rich inherited cultural life in time. Its historic center was declared a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage of Humanity. Among the most important places we mention the Cathedral, built in pink stone the Government Palace, the Aqueduct, the Fountain of Tarascas, etc.. Early in the afternoon, continued to Mexico City, and left at the hotel for your stay, Htl or Htl **** Plaza Florencia Maria Isabel Sheraton *****.

Día 9 .- MEXICO DF

Breakfast. A convenient time, transfer from hotel to airport for flight back to their place of origin.
